Pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma are tumors arising from the adrenal medullae and sympathetic or parasympathetic ganglia, respectively. Today, up to 40% of these tumors have been shown to be caused by a hereditary genetic mutation in any of twelve different genes. Sequencing all of these genes is costly and time-consuming. This app helps researchers prioritize genes for sequencing, based on location, hormone production and syndromic presentation. Note that this app is intended for research use only.
